About the programme

HP AI Foundry takes you from "What is AI?" to confidently understanding how modern systems work and what they mean for society. The structure moves through three stages — demystification → mechanics → implications — so each course builds naturally on the last.

Ages 16–60, English speakers. No coding or technical background required.

How it works

20 bite-sized modules (~20 minutes each) combining video, real-world examples, and visuals.

How you're assessed

10 quiz questions per module (200 total), plus an optional capstone project.

Who is the HP AI Foundry programme for?

Anyone aged 16–60 who speaks English. No coding or technical background is required — just curiosity. It's built for students, professionals, and leaders who want to understand and apply AI.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. The programme has no coding prerequisites. It's designed to be accessible to everyone, focusing on concepts, real-world examples, and visuals rather than programming.

How is the programme structured?

Three courses across 20 bite-sized modules of about 20 minutes each, combining video, real-world examples, and visuals. Total learning time is roughly 7 hours.

How am I assessed?

Each module ends with 10 quiz questions (200 across the programme), plus an optional capstone project to apply what you've learned.

What do I earn on completion?

An HP certificate recognising your AI literacy and skills, after completing the modules and quizzes. The courses are delivered on edX.
